In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, choosing the right lethal and tactical gear can turn the tide of battle in your favor. These two categories of equipment serve different purposes, but they are most effective when used in combination. Here’s how to maximize the synergy between your lethal and tactical gear to outsmart and overpower the enemy.
Let’s start with grenades and flashbangs. While flashbangs are used to incapacitate or confuse enemies, frag grenades can quickly finish off the disoriented targets. For example, if you throw a flashbang into a room and blind your enemies, a well-timed frag grenade will cause maximum damage while they’re vulnerable. Similarly, you can use the semtex grenade after a flashbang to stick it to an enemy before they can react. This combo works particularly well in close-quarters combat, where enemies are likely to cluster together.
For a more aggressive approach, you can pair C4 explosives with tactical equipment such as the trophy system or smoke grenades. If you’re planning to clear out a building or take out a vehicle, using a trophy system will protect you from incoming enemy projectiles, allowing you to place C4 without worrying about being interrupted. Smoke grenades, on the other hand, will create cover, letting you plant C4 or set traps without being immediately spotted.
Concussion grenades and claymores also work well together. You can use the concussion grenade to disorient a group of enemies, and then quickly place a claymore at the door or in a hallway. As the enemies stumble through, they’ll trigger the claymore and get taken out, while you remain safe and concealed.
The best players know how to use their tactical and lethal equipment in tandem. Combining flashbangs with explosives, smoke with snipers, or concussions with traps will increase your battlefield control and make your plays much more dangerous. A little bit of planning and foresight can turn even a seemingly dangerous situation into a deadly trap for your opponents.
