Can IÂ bring anything to help with the groom?
The only item(s) that we do recommened to bring is: vet approved shampoo (if needed) & suitbale treats for your dogs (vet approved)Â only if you was happy to do so!
What is a 'Matting Fee' and why do IÂ have to pay?
When your dog has a matted coat (groomer has assessed your dog(s) coat or has given you a call and informed you) there will be an additional charge for a few reasons:
1. It will take extra time to clip you dog when the coat is matted/pelted as it can cause slight discomfort as it can be very close(tight) to the skin. Also, it takes time as you have to be very careful and patient when clipping as you may not be visbily clear in there is anything underlying i.e moles, skin tags, grazes/abrasions and lumps/bumps etc

2. With a matted coat it can blunt our blades quickly as we are working the coat more than usual therefore we can't use blunt blades

What if IÂ can't pick my dog up once the groom has finished?
We will always provide an appropriate time length for the groom service which can be altered depending on the service you have chosen (will be stated on the signed grooming contract) as well as how well the coat is maintained. We will give you a call once the groom has finished to notify you and will ask how long you will take to arrive. We do have a Late Collection policy in place where any dog(s) that are not collected within the agreed collection time will incur an additional charge of £5 for every 30 minutes, which will need to be paid with the grooming service before leaving.
Do you groom any other animals?
Unfortuantley we do not offer any grooming or pet supplies to other animals, our main focus is dogs
I am struggling to maintain my dogs coat what can IÂ do?
Depending on your dog's coat type there will be suitable tools in which you can use to help keep their coat be tangle free in time for their next groom (Ask for more details).
You do also have the option to do an in-between groom of a Bath, Brush & Blowdry ready for their full groom on the next appointment.
If you would like to do home maintenance instead here are the tools:

Slicker Brush/Pin Brush - Used for long haired dogs i.e Cockapoo, Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier & Bichon Frise

Comb- After brushing always do a final check on the brushed area to make sure the comb goes through. This will indicate the area has been brushed from the root.
Rubber Brush - Used for short haired dogs i.e Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Labradors, English Bulldogs & Beagle, brush in the direction of coat growth or in a circular motion.
